Dr Hilary Jones

Dr Hilary Jones MBE is one of the most recognised and trusted medical broadcasters, with a career spanning almost 50 years in medicine and more than three decades on national television. A practising GP, author and health commentator, he has become a familiar face to millions through his long-standing role as ITV’s resident health expert, helping people understand complex health issues with clarity, compassion and credibility.

Passionate about public health education and prevention, Dr Hilary has dedicated much of his career to empowering individuals and communities to take positive action for their health and wellbeing. He is a strong advocate for lifesaving skills, health awareness and early intervention, using his platform to encourage people to make informed decisions that can improve and save lives.

Alongside his medical and broadcasting work across so many Tv and radio stations Dr Hilary has supported numerous national health campaigns and charitable initiatives, championing causes that improve public understanding and access to healthcare. His unique combination of clinical expertise, communication skills and public trust has made him one of the country’s most influential voices in health and wellbeing.

He is author of several medical books as well as his trilogy of novels and his podcast “ The Dr Hilary Show” is available on Spotify and YouTube .

As a KSS Ambassador, Dr Hilary is helping the charity raise awareness including the importance of CPR and the vital role that each of us can play in saving lives. Through his support of their lifesaving work, he is helping to promote the knowledge, confidence and community action that can make a critical difference in an emergency.
